Fans rejoiced in late October when Samantha Who? was given a full-season (22 episode) pickup by ABC. But as the Writers Guild of America strike nears the end of its first week, and negotiations between the guild and major studios deadlocked, some believe the strike could stretch into 2008.
What’s that mean for the most-watched new comedy of the fall? According to TV Guide, twelve episodes of Samantha Who? will be produced. Counting the four episodes that have already aired, eight still remain to be seen.
For those unfamiliar with the strike, SamanthaWho.org recommends the following news articles and sites.

Living in Southern California (aka the entertainment capital of the world), I see all kinds of advertisements for entertainment-related things when I’m out and about. It didn’t come as a big surprise to me when Samantha Who? billboards, bus stop posters, and bus ads starting appearing in the Hollywood area. However, I imagine the campaign is targeted toward bigger markets and thought it might be fun to document a few ads for fans who might not have seen them.
