Whooliganism Spotted: Who, what, where, when

posted in Whooliganism Spotted on February 28th, 2008

emoticon Living and working around Hollywood your chances of spotting a celebrity automatically increase. Just last week I saw Kathleen Robertson and Heidi Klum while having lunch. Sometimes the best part of celebrity spotting isn’t the actual sighting, it’s reporting back to your family and friends who you saw. The following paragraph, written in Hollywood-speak, details my recent celebrity encounters.

“It was a double dose of celebrity fun at 25 Degrees this afternoon. Shortly after being seated in the far back booth for lunch, my friends and I spotted Kathleen Robertson of 90210 fame. Looking pretty and casually dressed, she ate with an older couple. Service for our meal was a little on the slow side (per usual), until it came time to pay the check and have our plates cleared. It was then we were informed that Heidi Klum needed a table — our table. We barely had a chance get up and walk away before Heidi and her entourage took over. She was shorter than I imagined; let’s say 5′8″.”

Unfortunately, I have yet to run across anyone from Samantha Who?, but the idea of celebrity sightings got me thinking and I figured it would be fun to adapt the concept for our SamanthaWho.org community.

It’s obviously easier for someone in Hollywood to spot Christina Applegate or Barry Watson at the local gas station than for someone in the mid-west or even half-way around the world. That’s where our adpated rules come in. To participate in ‘Whooliganism Spotted: Who, what, where, when’ all you have to do is share your Whooliganism sightings (whatever they may be). No in-person celebrity encounter required.

For example, I saw Christina on the cover of MediZine’s Healthy Living while getting my taxes done recently and snapped a photo with my camera phone. There you have it, ‘Whooliganism Spotted’ is born! The possibilities are endless. Drive by a Samantha Who? billboard? Take a photo. Find yourself having a Samantha-like moment? Write it down and send it in. ‘Whooliganism Spotted’ is open to everything and anything Samantha Who? related. Share your Whooliganism experiences with fellow Whooligans and let the good times roll.
