Christina Applegate (Samantha) stars in this sitcom about a woman who wakes up from an eight-day coma with amnesia and learns that she wasn’t a nice person before the coma. After being the victim of a hit and run, Sam awakens in the hospital, surrounded by family and friends, but has no idea who they are or who she is. She quickly learns that in her pre-coma life she was a cheater, an alcoholic, and had no true friends.
1.02 - The Job …

Back to work for the first time since her coma, Samantha learns what a cutthroat workaholic she used to be and wonders if she wants to return to her old ways. She learns that having a clean slate doesn’t necessarily mean you can ignore the past.
1.03 - The Wedding …
Airdate: October 29th, 2007
Overjoyed that somebody must have liked her, Samantha jumps at the chance to assume her role as bridesmaid in a friend’s wedding. However she shows up to the wedding only to learn she’s been uninvited by the bride. At first dejected, and then motivated by the challenge of vindication, Sam sets out to apologize and be re-accepted by the bride.
1.04 - The Virgin …

While out at a club with Andrea, Samantha is hit on and comes to realize that she has no memory of sex. In essence a virgin, Samantha wrestles with the idea of re-experiencing her “first time” or holding off and waiting for the right guy.
